Chairman of the board
Ulrich Weitz holds a degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in mechanical engineering. He has been principal shareholder and managing director of IBU-tec since 2000. After completing his university degree he worked for lift manufacturer OTIS, where he held management positions in quality assurance, design and manufacturing. He also served as director of manufacturing engineering at OTIS International in Paris. In 1998 Ulrich Weitz joined Winkler+Dünnebier AG where he served as director of the company’s special machine engineering plant with personnel responsibility for more than 750 employees.
Chief Financial Officer
As of January 2017, Mr. Joerg Leinenbach is the new Chief Financial Officer of IBU-tec. Since 2015 he is responsible for the following departments, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Facilities Management/IT. Prior to joining IBU-tec, Mr. Leinenbach worked as the Head of Commercial Management for Prego Services GmbH in Saarbruecken. While at Saarland University, Mr. Leinenbach studied Business Administration, focusing on Revision, Trusteeship and Tax Law. In his previous career, Mr. Leinenbach has held various management positions in accounting, controlling and investment management.
Division Manager Business Operations/Technology
Dr. Toralf Rensch has been at IBU-tec since 1997. He completed his doctorate at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg in the faculty of process and systems engineering with a dissertation about thermal ground decontamination using the rotary kiln. Today he is head of operations and technology, including sales, contract R&D, and both the rotary kiln and pulsation reactor technologies.
Division Manager Business Development
Since April of 2015, Mr. Robert Suesse has held the position of Division Manager for the Business Development Department of IBU-tec, Inc. Mr. Suesse, who has previously worked as an independent management consultant, has many years of experience in the development and implementation of strategic programs. Prior to being a consultant, he worked as Vice President for Corporate Development, Asian region for the SMS Group and as a project manager for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Robert Suesse earned a Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA.
