Function

The rotary kiln technology is a thermal process for calcination, sintering, pyrolysing and burning of powders and granulates.

Test facilities

With eleven different test facilities of our direct and indirect heated rotary kilns we can individually serve the customer-specific requirements for various material systems, material characteristics and process conditions in customer trials and small amount productions.

Processes

The IBU-tec rotary kilns are used for calcination, sintering, pyrolising and firing. Treatment temperatures range from 50 °C – 1,550 °C.
