The structural framework for our new spray tower technology at the IBU-tec site in Bitterfeld has been completed. With this, we reached another important milestone on April 15, 2026, for large-scale production of LFP Cathode Materials in Europe.
This not only creates the first LFP production plant in Europe—it also allows us to specifically strengthen our services across the entire value chain for the development, industrialization, and production of Battery Materials.
What this means in concrete terms:
- Construction of a new production plant with a capacity of approximately 15,000 tons of LFP Cathode Material per year
- A unique facility in the Bitterfeld-Wolfen chemical hub with an impressive carbon footprint
