Weimar, October 06, 2025 – IBU-tec advanced materials AG (“IBU-tec”, ISIN: DE000A0XYHT5) today signed an agreement with PowerCo SE (“PowerCo”) for the production of LFP battery materials. Under the terms of the agreement, IBU-tec will produce LFP cathode material for automotive applications for PowerCo at its Weimar site from 2026. In 2028, IBU-tec is aiming for full utilization of its current production capacities for LFP battery materials of more than 3,000 tons per year. The total volume of the production agreement with PowerCo amounts to a mid-double-digit million-euro amount in the first three-year period after the start of production. As a result, IBU-tec expects a significant increase in Group sales revenues in the years 2026 to 2028 (current planning of Group sales for 2025: EUR 43 - 45 million). With the production agreement, IBU-tec is continuing its growth strategy to establish itself as part of a European value chain for battery materials.
